PRG are currently representing a leading provider of FPSO services who are looking to expand their Maintenance management department with a key hire. Our client is represented in the major oil regions world-wide with a presence across West Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Position: Maintenance Manager
Job description
Preserve the Asset as per Company maintenance philosophy and core values
Deliver optimum technical and maintenance support to respective Asset
Review reports from technical and maintenance service providers and initiate appropriate actions as required to rectify the issues, if any.
Follow up Class, Flag and other statutory inspections / surveys including corrective / preventive actions as required
Actively monitor the reporting through CMMS, and other maintenance / inspection reports with the aim to ensure continuous improvement regarding the effectiveness of maintenance
Knowledge:
Substantial appreciation and knowledge of FPSO marine & process systems
Comprehensive experience of the relevant requirements of the classification societies and international rules and regulations
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Desired Skills and Experience
MSc in Engineering or background as Maintenance Supervisor or Chief Engineer
Other education and / or long relevant experience may compensate lack of formal education with relevant experience
Preferably 10 years’ experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
Preferably 5 years’ experience onboard FPSOs, e.g. as Chief Engineer / Maintenance Supervisor
Previous experience within database systems and maintenance management
Managerial experience is an advantage
